Miss Shayna has over 25 years of dance experience with a strong focus on pre-professional and competitive dance. She began her dance training under her mother, Helene Joy Chapman at the early age of 2. Her passion for dance grew immensely and by the age of 14 was selected to tour the country with the Dance Olympus faculty and performed in the closing show in each city.
By the time she was 17 years old, Shayna was teaching at the YMCA, local elementary schools as well as her mother’s dance studio - Helene Joy School of Dance. She continued to teach dance to multiple dance studios in Massachusetts for several years, building her dance resume and touching the lives of thousands of students she had the pleasure of working with.
In 2011, Shayna became the Company Director of the On Your Toes Dance & Theatre Company in Acton, MA. She has trained many students who have competed regionally, nationally and also invited to compete in the World Dance Championship where her students placed in the top 15 in the World. She is incredibly passionate about teaching dance and crafting creative and unique choreography for each student.

Miss Carla started her classical ballet training at the age of five in Byron, GA. She moved to Puerto Rico where she continued her studies at the Conservatory of Ballet Concierto under the tutelage of Carlota Carrera, Sylvia Marichal, Lourdes Gomez, Lolita San Miguel, among others.
As a student she received scholarships to train during the summers at the Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet and at the 42nd Bartholin International Ballet Seminar in Copenhagen, Denmark. While in Denmark, she trained with Laura Alonso, Martin James and Fernando Bujones. At age sixteen she joined the company of Ballet Concierto of Puerto Rico where she had the pleasure of dancing in great classics like Giselle, Swan Lake, La Fille Mal Gardee, Copellia, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote and many others.
During her time as an undergraduate student, Carla was actively involved as a dancer in the Colleges of the Fenway (COF) Dance Project since it’s inception in 2006, and as a ballet instructor for LEAP (Lifelong Exercise and Activities Program) at Simmons College.
After graduating in 2010, Carla became an instructor for the COF Dance Project and is now the Assistant Director for the program.
