Miss Shayna has over 30 years of dance experience with a strong focus on pre-professional and competitive dance. She began her dance training under her mother, Helene Joy Chapman at the early age of 2. Her passion for dance grew immensely and by the age of 14 was selected to tour the country with the Dance Olympus faculty and performed in the closing show in each city. 

By the time she was 17 years old, Shayna was teaching at the YMCA, local elementary schools as well as her mother’s dance studio - Helene Joy School of Dance. She continued to teach dance to multiple dance studios in Massachusetts for several years, building her dance resume and touching the lives of thousands of students she had the pleasure of working with. After winning a national dance competition in 2007 with her self-choreographed solo, she was awarded the "Future Star Award" and was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine. 

In 2011, Shayna became the Company Director of the On Your Toes Dance & Theatre Company in Acton, MA. She has trained many students who have competed regionally, nationally and also invited to compete in the World Dance Championship where her students placed in the top 10 in the World. She is incredibly passionate about teaching dance and crafting creative and unique choreography for each student. 

Shayna has recently trained and is now certified to teach Progressing Ballet Technique which certifies that she has learned the understanding of activating muscle memory to activate “turn out”, “adage movements”, “allegro”, “batterie” and controlled landings. She has certification how to break down the exercises, build the exercises, the appropriate age relevant to each exercise, use of correct muscle groups that assist each movement and how to transfer the muscle memory into dance class.

Miss Jasmine is a dancer, choreographer and performer of the arts. She has been dancing since she was three years old. She danced competitively for thirteen years, and starting choreographing and teaching the younger generation at fifteen years old at Sheila Rosanio's School of Dance & Gymnastics in Revere, Massachusetts. She teaches and choreographs competitively and also for recreation classes. Her students have received special awards as well as first place in their age category. 

Jasmine graduated from Salem State University in 2019 with a Bachelor Degree in Dance. While in college she was a member of Repertory Dance Theater where she was a dancer, choreographer and served as the club's Public Relations Manager. She was also a member of Salem Dance Ensemble where she was a dancer and choreographer. Her most recent works are Creep, Cruisin',  Grace and petrichor. 

Jasmine's mission is to encourage aspiring dancers that nothing is impossible. She believes that everyone deserves to be seen and heard, and to have a creative outlet. Jasmine strives to build a community that provides programs that will help develop self-esteem, confidence, and respect for themselves as well as others.

Miss Hope is a graduate from Endicott College, receiving her BA in Psychology and minor in dance. Originally from Sudbury, MA, Hope was a competitive dancer for over 10 years, where she trained in all disciplines. Alongside her competitive career, Hope trained professionally as a Junior Apprentice with Urbanity Dance in Boston, MA. She also toured with the Excel in Motion dance convention as an Elite Dancer for 2 years. 

More recently during her time at Endicott, she was involved with the Repertory Dance Ensemble (2022-2024) as well as a member of the Endicott College Dance Team (2022-2024). With this team, Hope obtained a national championship (2024), one silver medal

(2024), and two top five place finishes at UDA College Nationals (2023). 

She is also a four time UDA New England champion (2023, 2024), and a UDA Battle of the Northeast champion (2023). Hope now works to train the younger generation of dancers, with an aspiration to ignite passion and inspire dancers to be their very best. Overall, dance is a creative and rewarding outlet, and Hope is here to make

Miss Amanda is originally from East Boston Massachusetts, where she started dancing at the age of 5. She grew up attending conventions and dancing competitively at Sheila Rosanio’s School of Dance and Gymnastics. She studied the art of commercial dancing at Phunk Phenomenon Dance Complex and Green Street Studios. Amanda continues to take various amounts of master classes from choreographers as well as assisting them. 

Amanda has traveled on tour across the United States and internationally working for worldwide leader in dance competitions, Starpower National Talent Competition. Being on tour has given her the opportunity to travel and encounter the most amazing dancers and choreographers. 

With over 5 years of teaching experience she continues to specialize in hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, jazz and acrobatics/tumble. Amanda hopes to share her creative concepts and visualizations with her students of Shine On!

Miss Laura grew up in Medway, Ma. She started dancing at the age of 4 at a Massachusetts dance studio and continued her training there until she graduated high school. 

She is trained in contemporary, jazz, lyrical, acrobatics and hip hop. Through her years of dancing, she has won numerous titles and top placement awards at various competitions. Laura was chosen with her studio team to participate in the “10th World Gymnaestrada” in Berlin Germany in 1995, where she was the youngest dancer. After graduating high school, Laura continued to further her education by taking master classes all over New England.

Along with being an accomplished dancer, Laura is, also, being recognized as an accomplished dance teacher and choreographer. While teaching at studios within Massachusetts she has won numerous choreography awards for her contemporary, jazz, and lyrical pieces. Her students have received amazing recognition, winning top placement awards, and receiving scholarships to dance in Hollywood & New York. 

Laura is well-known for her unique style and innovative choreography. Laura takes pride in passing along her love and knowledge for dance to each and every one of her students. She is incredibly honored to work with the dancers at Shine On Performing Arts Center for many years to come.

Miss Chiara  is so excited to be joining Shine On Performing Arts Center! She is currently dancing professionally as an NFL Cheerleader for the New England Patriots. Prior to this team, she was cheering for the local ECHL Worcester Railers and the IFL Massachusetts Bay Pirates.

Chiara graduated from Mass Amherst in 2023 with a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in Food Science. During her time at UMass, she was a member of the Stage Crew Dance Team for 4 years and Captain of the team for 2 years. 

Chiara has been dancing for 20 years and competed for several years at Paula Terenzi's Dance Complex. She has a background in styles including: Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Acro/Tumble, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Pom.

Miss Madi is a versatile and dynamic dancer and actress with extensive experience in both competition and professional performance. Growing up in Ipswich, Massachusetts she began her training in all styles. With an unwavering love for Ballet, Contemporary, Modern and Jazz. 

Throughout her career, Madi has danced in music videos, including high energy shoots in Los Angeles and a performance based project in England, showcasing her flair across different artistic environments. In 2019, she continued her journey in Los Angeles, California, attending Hussian College, where she focused on acting and commercial dance, as part of her BFA in acting.  

Miss Madi has also been chosen on a panel of judges for a premier dance competition, sharing her love and knowledge of dance to students from across the country. 

Madi is dedicated to teaching and choreographing, working with dancers of all levels. Her training philosophy emphasizes both technique and performance quality, empowering her students to unlock their full potential. Madi continues to inspire and share the next generation of performers while evolving in her own artistic craft.
